For over eight years, the premium version of the Workhorse has been one of our best sellers in Japan with it's exacting standards of aging. Today, we offer a new, more simplified version in our 'Players' series. The same great playability and sound, but more simplified.

The Workhorse is our take on a guitar that started its life as a Blackguard but has modified to do different jobs through its life. We chose what we felt were the best parts of the guitars built from 1950-54 and added modern twists like a flatter radius, bigger frets, a P-90 pickup and custom wiring.

These guitars are Rock & Roll machines! The Workhorse comes standard with one bridge P-90, but can be ordered as a Workhorse Special with a black guard and a stock Tele neck pickup or a neck P90.
