The Twisted is our take on the classic design of 1964-1970 with its alder body and rosewood or maple board. We chose the parts we liked from each year and added a flatted radius, larger frets, our own US made tremolo for a classic guitar with none of the issues found in the originals. The twisted is a great choice from blues and psychedelic rock players.

Our Twisted series guitar was originally designed for Joe Perry because of his heavy use of Lefty Strats ™ and our love of all things Jimi. If you have ever played a lefty upside-down, you know how unique it sounds and feels, but how uncomfortable it is to play with the knobs and jack where you rest your arm. Our idea was to twist both the body and the guard at the waist to keep the looks and tone of the lefty, but move the arm contour and electronics to that of a right-handed guitar, so you get all the cool looks, tones and feel of the lefty with the comfort and electronics positions you are used to.
The Twisted is designed to have a tone that is pure 60’s psychodelia with its Fralin Woodstock lefty pickups and RS Vintage electronics. It can be ordered with either the standard RS Contour head or the large RS head for more of that late 60’s vibe. The Twisted is a great choice from blues and psychedelic rock players.
