The RS Guitarworks True 60's® are copies of the most special set of 1960 PAF's we have ever played. These second generation pickups are as close to the tone of the 1960 PAF's you can get without a time machine or $5000! They are copied down to the last detail and each AlNiCo II magnet is hand tested in shop to insure they are just like the real deal. The True 60's have un-potted coils, just like the original PAF's. Each part is hand-aged so not only do they sound old, they look it. If you want a classic, fat PAF tone, these pickups smoke. The bridge pickup reads 8.5k and the neck reads 7.7k. The True 60's are available in new or aged versions, with or without covers.

The RS/PAFs are made for RS Guitarworks by Lindy Fralin, and are based off the real 1960 PAFs found in Roy’s main Les Paul®. Similar tone as the RS True 60, but more aggressive, more like the Rev. Billy G. The Neck reads 7.7K, the Bridge is 8.4K. Both have unbalanced coils and are unpotted with Alnico IV magnets. With 4 Conductor wire.

These pickups are copies of the real PAF's in Greg Martin's 1958 Les Paul®. His guitar and it's pickups are nothing short of amazing. Our copies are wound by Lindy Fralin and are exact down to the magnetic strength; the Psychebilly's are un-potted, and have Alnico II magnets. They are the best low-power "PAF" on the market. The Bridge pickup reads 7.7K, the Neck pickup reads 7.8K. Like Greg says, "While my PAF's may not be the loudest, they'll knock down any outhouse in a mile radius!" These pickups are the only way to go if you want that Pure Kentucky Tone.

The RS Big Block is wound by Lindy Fralin to RS's specs for the ultimate high-output pickup. They are unbalanced coils and made from the same quality parts found in our True 60's, except they have 4-conductor wire for coil-tapping and phase reversal. The bridge pickup reads 14.4K and the neck pickup reads 12K with Alnico IV magnets and plain enamel wire. The RS Big Block has great balanced tone with a very percussive attack so it's not harsh but still screams. Want to add some muscle to your guitar? ..drop in a Big Block!!
